Belemia

A person with bulimia eats a lot of food in a short amount of time and then purges the food from the body (usually by throwing up) in an attempt to not gain weight. This is a serious eating disorder that often has roots in psychological problems. Treatment for bulimia generally involves confronting the underlying psychological issues and teaching a person how to eat normally again.
